ABOUT THE OWNER
Hello, I’m Melodi Mercer Wright. My journey began in the 80s as a cosmetologist, where I developed a passion for addressing skin issues like burns and scarring through para-medical cosmetics. This expanded into helping individuals with hair deficiencies and creating prosthetics for breast cancer survivors. Later, as a registered oncology nurse, I encountered complex skin issues caused by chemotherapy and radiation. Seeking natural solutions, I pursued further education and founded Fusion Botanicals.
Graduating from Formula Botanica, I focused on creating artisan creams targeting various skin concerns. Among these, my Vitamin C and Peptide creams, though challenging to stabilize, have become essential products. After years of testing, they have proven to be effective.
Understanding Our Peptides:
Our peptides are synthetically created to mimic the body’s natural processes. Peptides are short chains of amino acids that serve as building blocks for proteins in the skin. These synthetic peptides are designed to trick the body into performing certain functions as if they were occurring naturally.
The development of these peptides began in the 1930s, but progress was delayed due to the economic challenges of the Great Depression and World War II. Today, scientific advancements have enabled us to refine and effectively use these peptides in skincare.

Rationale for Using Specific Forms of Vitamin C:
L-Ascorbic Acid: The most potent form of Vitamin C, known for its excellent skin penetration and effectiveness in brightening and reducing fine lines.
Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP): A more stable form of Vitamin C, suitable for sensitive skin, providing hydration and brightening effects.
Rationale for Strength/Percentage:
Dermatological studies support the use of specific concentrations of Vitamin C to achieve optimal results. Our formula is based on these findings to provide effective skin benefits.
Stabilization Techniques:
